For my 30th birthday I told my husband I wanted to redo my office. I’m in there all the time, and it was just a jumble of awkwardly placed furniture. My goal was to use mostly what I had and add a little bit of glam into the mix. I’m still working on the wall decor (not my strong point), but I wanted to share my brilliant idea for storing my printer. That corner is the happiest corner of my office.
I’ve loved the bar cart trend ever since it came out. But we’re not really drinkers, so having a bar cart for a bar seemed like a ridiculous thing to have. Basically, it’d have no purpose. Plus, Matt doesn’t care for the gold trend like I do.
Redoing my office was the perfect opportunity to cash in on the glam office trend and have an excuse for buying an oh-so-trendy bar cart.
Can’t help it –I’m obsessed with home tours.
Let’s face it …printers are not the prettiest pieces of office equipment. But adding something pretty like a modern gold bar cart really adds some oomf to the office.
Eventually I’ll add prettier actionable paper storage to the mix, but for now, the tray at the bottom works fine. For me, I need those papers within sight or I’ll forget all about them!
What really brings that corner to life is the art. It’s one of the few pieces Matt and I agreed on (we have different taste in art). This piece is from Minted and the frame is from Amazon.
I’ve rounded up a few modern glam bar carts but you can find them pretty much everywhere.

The thing you MUST DO is measure the bar cart to make sure your printer will actually fit.
Do you love the bar cart trend? Will you use it to glam up your office?
