Maybe I’m a bit of a romantic, but this year I really want things to make my home cozy. We’re home all the time, working and homeschooling, so having a cozy home is incredibly important.
You and the people on your list this year might be in the same situation as me. So why not give gifts that help us make home a little more homey and cozy?
Here’s a cozy home gift guide with 30+ ideas for homemakers or anyone who wants to make their home feel more like home.
Cozy Home
Life Comfort Blanket
Best blanket ever! If you spot these at Costco, grab as many as you can because they’ll go quick. Nothing says cozy like a soft, warm blanket like this one.
Candles
I normally don’t use candles because the chemicals make me feel woozy. But I recently bought these non-toxic, wooden wick candles from Woodsy Homelife that smell amazing. The scents pictured below are both of the ones I have.
Fairy Lights
A friend gave away fairy lights at a Favorite Things party a couple of years ago. I keep them up through all the darker months.
Minted Art
Art adds beauty to a home. I love finding the perfect piece for my home through Minted.
Puzzles
Our favorite rainy day activity that says home more than anything? Puzzles!
Here are some of our favorites to do with our daughter.
Classic Games
How can you have a cozy home without board games? Give some of these classic games.
Organization
Planners
One of the most important parts of homemaking, working, and homeschooling is scheduling my life! The Blessed Is She Planner is my go-to daily planner because of its layout. And the PowerSheets from Cultivate What Matters is how I keep on track with my year!
Courses & Guides from Rooms Need Love
Yes, the shameless plug. But in all seriousness, organization is a gift that keeps on giving. Give a clutter-free (and clutter-removing) gift of:
Lined Dish Gloves
I know what you’re thinking. Dish gloves? Really?
Hear me out: my grandma gave me these gloves for Christmas and I thought the same thing. But now I get it. It’s so nice to not have your hands smell like rubber!
Pair these dish gloves with these flour sack towels and some Thieves soaps for a cute little gift box.
Books
Puffin in Bloom Classic Books
Cozy is curling up with a warm cup of coffee and a good book. Give these beautiful classic books to add beauty to a home.
The Lifegiving Home by Sally & Sarah Clarkson
A book all about creating a true home throughout the entire year. Get inspired to create traditions and portray values within your home. This is my favorite book for homemaking.
Theology of Home
Make home into a taste of heaven on earth with this beautiful book series filled with cozy photos of homes and the theology of the life to come.
Journals
Journals feel like the ultimate cozy home gift. My current favorite journal is the Cultivated Reading Journal.
In the past, I’ve used the Write the Word Journals …there’s a whole line to check out!
For Cooks and Food Lovers
Magnolia Table & Magnolia Table 2
Magnolia Table 2 is on my gift list this year after slowly cooking my way through Magnolia Table. My favorite recipes? French Toast Casserole (made for holidays), Buttermilk Pancakes, and the most requested party food from my extended family, Party Queso.
Pioneer Woman Cookbooks
Home is butter and cream …just kidding. But really, I think Ree Drummond’s recipes feel so home-like because she doesn’t skimp on butter or cream.
Temecula Olive Oil Company
Shout out to a local business —Temecula Olive Oil Company has AMAZING olive oils. And I shall mention they were featured in Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival?
Dutch Oven
I’m a firm believer that every home should have at least one good cast iron cookware …a good dutch oven will help you make my incredibly easy go-to bread recipe.
Pair a dutch oven with a printout of this bread recipe and this Danish dough whisk.
Electric Tea Kettle
Not gonna lie —this cute kettle is on my list this year. It’s to help me along my journey in becoming a tea drinker …
Bodum French Press
…And if you don’t feel like tea, you can still use the tea kettle to make some French pressed coffee.
Personalized Gifts
Family Photo Shoot
Family photos are a win for most grandparents. Having nice, professionally shot photos adds extra comfort when you put them on the walls of your home.
Find a photographer on Instagram by searching a hashtag with your location + photographer. (Example: #temeculaphotographer.) Contact them about a possible gift certificate.
Photo Calendar
I give a photo calendar to my grandmother every year and it hasn’t failed to delight her. She lives on the other end of the country, so this allows her to see her great-granddaughter all year long.
Shutterfly has a variety of options and prints in high quality.
Photo Book
Commemorate a holiday, special trip, family photoshoot, or the year with a photo book from Shutterfly. If you’re in a hurry, they’ll place the photos for you.
So there you have it. Over 30 cozy home gift ideas for the homemaker on your list (and for your list too!).
