If you’ve been around here a while, you may have noticed a bit of a pause in weekly content and no reopening of the Essential Home Organizing Blueprint. There are a couple of reasons for that.
Our family had been going through a transition these last 4 months. My husband has been in the process of purchasing a practice here in our hometown, and it’s been anything but smooth. We thought everything would be wrapped up last October, but he only just went back to work this January. It’s been a bit stressful, to say the least. But God is good, and we prayed diligently about this decision to have our own practice. We believe that despite the hardship, this is the path God wants us to take for my husband’s career and our family’s future.
After nearly 5 years of creating content for this blog, I’m a bit burnt out. I needed to take some time away, not thinking about posting something every single Monday. Even now, I still need time and inspiration to get my creative juices flowing again before consistently creating weekly content once more.
Additionally, I really desired a season for slowing down and to be present for my family. I wanted to enjoy having time unburdened by the responsibility of creating content.
Now I’ll be slowly easing back into the swing of things but not hit them quite as hard. I feel called to focus more on spending more time with my daughter.
That being said, here are some things that have changed and things currently in the works for 2022.
While I still offer virtual organizing, it’s changed to an hourly service so you’re only paying for what you need and you can immediately start organizing. During the hourly session, we can narrow down where you should start, what you should do for your unique project, and strategize home management systems to keep things organized. Really, it’s your time to pick my brain about my organizing expertise.

Organizing Action Plans have become an entirely separate service, where you only work on and pay for one, single-space plan at a time.
Because of the nature of life, I’ve found that it’s difficult for clients to complete all their projects within a short time span. Like the Virtual Organizing Sessions, you only pay for what you need and work on one project at a time.

Now, here’s what’s in the works for the first part of 2022 …
When I sent out a survey a few weeks ago (you can still submit your survey response here!), nearly 90% of you said you organizing guides for specific areas would motivate you to organize. With that knowledge, I’ve almost completed the first guide for organizing your kitchen. I hope to launch it in a few short weeks.
Next, I’m working on a deeper version of the 40 Days of Intention, originally created in 2018. However, because it takes so much thought, I may run short on time to create it. I want it to be something worth your time, yet I’m battling feelings of unworthiness as I create it.
I’ve only thought things through until about March. I want to see where I’m at before I commit to doing more. In this season, I’m enjoying being a mom and homemaker, so I’m slowing things down to prioritize that.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions for what services would help you and what you’d like to hear about and see in the future. Leave me a message in the comments or leave your comments in this survey.
ALL my best,
Jena
