Creating a photo book is hard. But one difficult decision I always forget until it’s time to sit down and create? Choosing which photo book templates to use!
I like to use Shutterfly for creating my photo books. Along with multiple sizes, templates, and upgrades, Shutterfly’s creation and editing tools are easy to use. I’ve been using Shutterfly since 2011, and I continue to be impressed by the quality of my photo books.
Whenever I share my latest family yearbook on Instagram, I’m always asked which photo book templates I’m using. It’s no wonder —there are so many to choose from!

Colorful Florals
If you love color, this book offers a neutral background making the florals (and your photos) really stand out.

Another more neutral design with earthy tones (aside from the gold). I love that it’s classy and minimal, but still adds some color to the photo book.
Family Blessings
If you can’t decide between any of the ones above, this photo book design is a combination of all three. The template includes floral designs, like Colorful Florals, yet still has a minimal look like Watercolor Greenery.

This was the template I used for my 2021 family yearbook. Since our family photos were more colorful, I went with a template that allowed the photos to pop.
