This is the moment I wait for every September …the new PowerSheets reveal. And after last year’s batch, I’m excited about the changes Cultivate What Matters has made to the 2024 PowerSheets.
Truthfully, the 2023 PowerSheets were underwhelming. There were complaints that the goal planner was excessively slimmed down. Cultivate What Matters had just changed hands, and they seemed to be focused on new products rather than sticking to their core product.
It looks like they took these criticisms to heart: this year, they brought back what was missing and added brand-new pages that I can’t wait to use!
Here are 5 awesome changes to the 2024 PowerSheets!
What’s the same in the 2024 PowerSheets
Before I dig into all the changes, here’s what’s the same:
- Brand-new cover styles (like in jade and purple)
- Hard linen covers
- Gold spiral binding
- Detached planner stickers
- Year at a glance insert
- Front pocket
- Tending List layout
Now let’s get into what’s different (& new!).
01. Concise “Fresh Start” Pages
In my first set of PowerSheets from 2019, working through all the beginning pages was a struggle. I quit filling out some of the pages in the next few years. It was too much fluff.
In the 2024 PowerSheets, the beginning pages are concise. Instead of fluff pages about “Who am I?” it digs into your mindset and what matters most to you.
My favorite Fresh Start page? I love the new layout for the “Evaluate Where You Are Now” pages. There’s more space!
02. Guided Goal Action Plans
The “What I Will Do” section in the Goal Action Plans is no longer a blank page. Instead, it breaks out the plan into four seasons. For someone like me who sees a blank page and has no idea what to do, this is much better.
Since the idea is to break a goal into smaller, actionable pieces over shorter periods of time, this new layout makes sense.
03. New Monthly Evaluation Check-In
I never used the “Prepare Well” page ahead of each new month very well. But the 2024 PowerSheets have switched to a “Monthly Reset.”
The headers are slightly different from previous years but the biggest difference is a “Cultivated Life Evaluation Check-In.” Instead of waiting each quarter to evaluate, it’s done each month.
I like the idea of doing this every month because it will remind me to think about the different areas. Usually, I get to the quarterly refresh and I can’t think of what I’ve done for each area!
04. Brand New Weekly Rhythm Ideas
The biggest update for 2024 is a brand-new spread for “Weekly Rhythm Ideas.” It’s a grid split by day and half-hour blocks of time so you can write out habits, rhythms, & routines that will help you reach your goals.
There’s a new spread every month, which makes sense. Life is constantly changing by seasons, so rhythms change as well.
In the past, I’ve downloaded pages like this for myself from other sources. But to have them as part of the PowerSheets? These brand-new pages are a dream!
05. Sturdy Monthly Dividers
While I was glad the fluff pages were gone last year, the monthly divider inserts were removed. Instead, tabs were added to the “Prepare Well” page. I’m always afraid I’m going to rip the page completely out because the tab is on a flimsy page.
For 2024, the dividers are back and colorful, like they were in 2021. Finding the sections and quickly flipping to what I need is a huge improvement. (Don’t remove those dividers again, Cultivate What Matters!)
Getting goal-focused with the 2024 PowerSheets
I’ve been a PowerSheets user since 2019, and the new 2024 PowerSheets have some of my favorite features. These are the kinds of improvements I can see helping me live more intentionally and goal-focused.
The 2024 PowerSheets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, October 4 at 10am EST. Check out their collection of products to snag, including the Season-By-Season Planner, Write the Word Journals, & (one of my favorites) the Cultivated Reading Journal.
